Greece, one of my favorite destinations.
Not that it is overly exotic, on the contrary it’s close by (4-5 hours from Sweden) and most of the locations for tourists have all the necessities you could ever need.
The food is one big reason for coming back over and over again. I simply adore the Greek cuisine. Greek wine – not so much – I’d stick to water and cold Mythos :).
Also to feel the breath of history around every corner is something that is truly amazing.
Landscape photography in Greece can be truly great: Interesting subjects with sunsets that often are vivid.
This year I found myself in Greece twice, below are some photos from those occasions: Some landscape photography, some more of a touristic flavor.
Ah, this place. It may be nice and amusing to visit when there’s a bus load or ten of tourists around.
But off season, alone, sun about to set… Now that’s a completely different story. For some reason I kept thinking of the movie Blair Witch.
Well the tunnel is located at Seven Springs, Rhodes and measures almost 200m.
It is slanting slightly downward. So somewhere in the dark the ground starts to get wet, then really wet, and in the end you’ll have water to your knees…. I was told. I entered and decided to turn around quite soon after my feet got wet. And when I say turn around I really mean start walking backwards. I could not turn around, the tunnel was to narrow to accommodate me and my backpack.
So, I can really recommend this place if you know someone that’s claustrophobic.
